The Old Dairy is a dream wedding venue 90 acres of grounds, located along Landsborough-Maleny Road- a stunning drive to the location with even more stunning views overlooking the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The venue has invested in some gorgeous new features including a boardwalk through the rainforest, and a walkway from the carpark with a stunning ‘Bridge House’ and Postman’s Stop for those that need a little refreshment before they get to the amazing Grand Dairy Barn and The Fox and Turkey (old milking shed). There is onsite accommodation for the bridal party in the cute as a button cottages, The Rusty Nail and Rocking Horse.
This venue is also dream to floral! We love the options you have available for your wedding flowers on site. Click here for some weddings and shoots we have done here.
Ceremony Spaces –
The most popular, due to its amazing view over the hinterland is The Glass Lookout. We have created some iconic ceremony backdrops here, most couples preferring to have pillars of florals either side so as not to impede the view. We have also done arbours and arches here, but often kept them airy and modern. A popular option is the circle arbour with romantic florals in clusters, leaving open gaps for the view.
The Lawn- this is actually our favourite place on the grounds as you get the lawn falling away into the views beyond, you can have a gorgeous arch or freestanding design here and you can go BIG if you want as there is oodles of space and views. A floral nest would work perfectly in this space, really playing on the sky and views.
Florals can then be transferred from the ceremony to the reception space. Either on or beside the bridal table, mantle piece or stunning feature entrance.
